Ripping DVD Scenes?

Hello,

I am doing a report on the movie "AI" for my science fiction class. I would like tp pull certain scenes from the dvd and use it in my PowerPoint. I haven't been able to do this with windows movie maker, and was wondering what the easiest way to do this would be. Any help quickly is greatly appreciated.

I always use PowerDVD to capture frames (as well as watch the movie), but I'd think most DVD playing software available should have that function.

Do you mean full scenes or just pictures. I think you mean whole scenes, could get a program that records whats being done on the screen at the time of the movie, Infranview maybe?
