I was wondering what you guys use on Windows (XP) to rip your music from CD to MP3. I know WMP 11/12 can do this but I was wondering if there are others that most people recommend?

CDex for mp3. EAC or MediaMonkey for FLAC.

Actually I use MediaMonkey for both. Awesome app. I only convert to mp3 for my iPod. MediaMonkey will convert and transfer songs to my iPod in one or two steps. Very nice.

But what about applying equalization/loud to MP3's so they sound good when you burn them? I've only seen Nero 7 that can do that to them before burning. Nothing else has an equalizer ...

I only use mp3. Will CDex pull media info like album art and data like WMP does?

I used WinAMP in the past. Worked great for me but I would not consider myself an audiophile so there are probably better options.
