What is the best method for this. There is this music video out that I want to rip the audio so I cna upload it to my Ipod. Any suggestions?

That'll work for AVIs, btw... no suggestions for WMV, MOV, what have you, unless you want to try mplayer for win32, which will handle anything. Look for the mencoder part, and figure it out from there.

Otoh, it might be easier to just buy the song. $1 isn't too much.

If you have certain Audigy cards, you can open the Media Source player, create a recording, and set the source to "What you hear". Works perfectly, great quality too. (Just found this yesterday)
