Rip off or a steal ?

LOL well it's probably legit in that the seller will ship you that set of speakers. 1500 watts is nonsense though, look at the R.M.S., which is 57 W. THD at 10% is high, there is no way that it does 20-20k Hz, and the S/N ratio seems high as well. I don't know what you expect of these speakers. I don't know if you can find better speakers for $50, but regardless, these will not blow you away.
 
To put it another way

ebay "buy it now" $53.95 + $30 shipping = $84 total

The satellites only boast 9 watts each for a total of 45watts + Sub 12watts for a grand total of 57watts :eek: (if true)

Basically any logitech or creative 5.1's at buy.com or amazon would blow them away, and thats not saying much ;)

Those speakers are actually a total ripoff. If you want cheap, go to the websites i mentioned and check out some logitech X-530 or the creative equivalents.

drive around your neighborhood on trash night and you'll find a better set than that for free... :p
 
This kid I know got some speakers that said 2000w once on ebay for 30 bucks lol. To say the least, they ain't worth anything.

LOL I think the 1500 Watts is like a PR Rating 1500 against other real speaker sets.. :D

prolly, i just hate buy.com. id pay extra cash to get my order from newegg, but anyhow that has nothing to do with the topic so....buy different speakers koss2010.
 
ya now my mind is set on the logitch x-510 .. unless someone can sell me better used :!
