Rip Off Alienware Cases ??

Thats the only one I know of. I have no idea about the site. I bookmarked one night in a drunken surf. ??? They look like the cheap $5 ebuyer.com cases with plastic over the front to make them look like the alienware cases. Id like to get one and put a duron in it with intergrated graphics and put it on ebay. :D

Alienware is complete crap anyway. Do yourself a favor and get a nice Antec or Coolermaster case.

Gawd, why would anyone even wanna know where to buy one, let alone actually seriously consider purchasing one?!?!

why would you want people to think that you pride and joy was made by alienware...id get a v1000 and put a big sticker on the side that says BUILT BY ME BIATCH!!!

If you want an awesome case with tons of space, get the Coolermaster Stacker. It's simply amazing. I've got one, and I absolutely love it. I've been building systems for 15 years, and this is the best case I've ever dealt with. You won't be sorry.

My only complaint with that thing, is that they gave you choice of top & bottom PSU mount, but then riveted on the PSU cage up top...kinda odd way of doing things.

read the whole thread, there are similar cases. Quite frankly i think they are very useless - just an enclosure around a chasis.

But, I do like the Alienware Chieftec dragon cases - i got one for free and replaced my old chieftec dragon case. I know, its a small difference but I like the flat, straight bezel and intake grill better than the arc bend design. Would've been better if it didnt have capped alienware printed on it though.

Because they made a water cooling system that fits specifically in the top slot. That's why they did that.

I know they have the one that fits in several device bays...? That'd make more sense, although I still wish they'd have used screws. Oh well, thermally speaking it makes more sense to have the extra heat source with the big exaust fan in the top spot anyway.

wait..what?

they put the PSU cage at the top because they have a w/c kit for it?

im sorry, that made no sense to me whatsoever.

I'd don't really like the Stacker because of the gawd awful ugly ass speaker looking mount on the side panel. If any other side panels are made for it then that would be one damn fine looking case there.

They make a windowed one. Also the normal one looks much better in person.

Well, maybe you should look at the specs for the Stacker, and you'll understand. It has two power supply cages. One on top, one on bottom. They make a custom fit water cooling device that fits in the top slot, so you can put your power supply slot at the bottom.

They also include a cable to connect two separate power supplies together, so you can use two power supplies if you'd like.

Make sense now?
