I have a fairly new (came with a refurbished iMac I bought in April) Magic Mouse that will intermittently stop responding to a right click.
I have to flip the switch on the bottom of the mouse to disconnect it and then reconnect it and it'll work fine for a random period of time (sometimes the rest of the day, other times it's mere minutes) and then break again.
CTRL-click still acts like a right click.
I've tried switching it out with another Magic Mouse I have attached to my HTPC and the same issue happens. I've also tried swapping out batteries to no avail.
I've also tried un-pairing the mouse manually and then adding it again, as well as rebooting. Nothing seems to work and the Internet isn't very helpful. Apple's website wasn't much help either.
I've turned off all Bluetooth devices in my apartment (which was just an Apple keyboard and Magic Mouse), per Apple's suggestion, but it didn't improve things.
I'm pretty sure that it's something wrong with the iMac as the behavior is repeated across multiple mice and the mice don't exhibit the same problem on my HTPC (which is a Mac Mini). But I don't see anywhere where I can change any settings.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.
