New com just in, A64 3200 Winnie @Stock, MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, Inno3D6600GT (going soon), Corsair VS 512x2 @2.5-3-3-8-2T 1:1, Zalman ZM400A-APF PSU.

So it can't do 1T timings everything else at defaults, don't know what to do. Is it because it's crappy ram?
 
Simply - Yes. Without knowing the rated speed/timings of your RAM vs what you have them set at, I would say that if you have a "Value" series RAM you can almost always expect to run it a 2T default. That isn't to say that you don't have options, did you try increasing the voltage on the RAM?
 
It's alright, I got it running. Put the sticks in the wrong slots 1 & 3, correct slots are 1 & 2. MSI made it confusing, lol. Plus I didn't read the manual :p
 
yeah 400mhz, dual-channel, 2.5-3-3-8 1T. when i put them in the wrong slots they did 333mhz, single-channel, 2.5.3.3.8 2T.
 
have you tried running single stick at 1t?
on my k8n neo 2, dimm slots 3-4 dont work at 1t.
but dimm slots 1-2 do the job.
