Howdy -- So my gal currently is without a computer. In fact, she has never owned one. So, I decided that I would put one together for her birthday. I picked-up a Biostar Ideq 210v. What I've cobbled together inside include a 2600+ Barton, 1Gb pc3200, and a 9600Pro. The rest is pretty much included with the mobo (KM400A). A nice and clean little machine. It's up and running smoothly, but I just wanted to ask you all if there is anything I can do (bios settings, jumpers, additional parts) to make it run the most efficiently with high stability? I can give more details if needed. Thanks in advance.

Usually computers preset ram timings isn't the best so you can go in and set the ram timings to what the ram is rated and also switch to 1T instead of 2T if there is that option available to you. You will feel a more "responsive" system with this little tweak. I personally wouldn't suggest overclocking anything since from the sound of your gf, she isn't a very hardcore gamer or anything like that. So keeping the heat and noise down to a very minimal I think has higher priority than anything in this case. Other than that, it's a great little SFF and should be up for anything you throw at it
