So i delidded my 3570k awhile back, which i thought i broke because it wouldnt boot past bios after that. I tried a few things but figured i tore it up, took my losses and running a 3770k now.
Today i was bored and threw the 3570k back into the test bench and tried it again, still not booting... but then i had an idea to turn it down to 1 core only. It boots! Tried 3 cores... Wont boot, but 2 cores will! So now i have a dual core 3570k...
Anyone have any idea why it wont boot with 3-4 cores?
I can get into bios just find with all cores on, but once i try loading windows it freezes and blue screens 1 sec after. Not with 1 or 2 cores only though!
Guess i have an overpriced dual core now
