The RIAA has dropped its lawsuit against the now defunct AllofMP3.com since they are no longer in operation. This will no doubt give them time to go after the other Russian music sites still in business.

That apparently satisfied the Recording Institute of American Artists (RIAA), which said late last week that it has dropped its copyright infringement lawsuit against MediaServices, the site's owner, according to Bloomberg. As TorrentFreak noted, the RIAA essentially declared victory and withdrew.

What are they going to do for fun once they run out of companies to sue?

LOl, ya won, name change, new site, done, file new lawsuit - close shop, change name, move servers, .. rinse.. repeat.

at least the russians were nice enough to transfer balances from allofmp3 to mp3sparks etc...

the RIAA is obviously just delusional at this point

sounds like our military, they are told where the insurgents are, but by the time they get there they have closed up there bomb making plans and moved to another location. of course this is repeated over and over again.

yup and in the process more and more people killed,. but that is okay, cause they will get them one day! or so they keep telling themselves and then it will all be worth it!

Well i guess that's one of those really really few cases when RIAA is right as pirates who take money for others work are problem.

But as shown here it's a bit more problematic that going after students from nearest colleage :D
