What's the problem with this admins? Not everyone wants to wade through endless pages, especially while the gui is a challenging to do this and since most only look at the first page this makes complete sense. personally I've found so many great threads cause someone has resurected them. I dont get it

not in agreement!

like rich tate said:

Please don't bump really old threads for no reason.

its not that its not allowed its the fact people were posting stupid comments just to bump it cause maybe they thought it was funny.. i thought that if you have nothing too contribute then dont post meaningless posts, but if you feel i needs to be brought up like if you have something sensible to say then go ahead and post, its usually the people that make "bring back an old thread complaint" posts that gets annoying cause theres no point to what they are doing, just wasting time..

correct me if im wrong, mods..

As stated above when I closed the thread I stated "for no reason".

I personally have nothing against reviving an old thread that may merit a discussion, but when a thread is bumped for no other reason, and then the comments made afterwords are nothing but off topic, then I have a problem.

That is the reason I closed the thread.

If you have further questions on this matter, please feel free to PM or e-mail me.

thnx rich, sure unneeded comments came in but they always do it seems. but, I did get to read it and I wouldn't have unless it was bumped against said rules. as many will ruin threads I think deleting the offending posts may be a better alternative keeping the thread alive.

If a thread is revived from the dead for additional information or a relevant comment which offers new bearing to the thread, there will be no problem. We have had members dredge back up numerous threads back to back just for the hell of it....the Admins then close them just for the hell of it. ;)
