Revive partition

Long story short, a friend of mine tried to delete the win7 recovery partition using diskpart but cleaned the entire drive instead.

Its a 1.5 GB HDD with about a gig of files.

Is there a way to revive the partition? I don't have enough space to recover everything then reformat and reinstall.
 
I would first look at the disk in a second machine then if the data looks like it is present and non corrupt try windows recovery..
