Hello there

Can somebody give a review of Vantec Aeroflow for Pentium 4

Thanks

The sound of the aeroflow eventually got to me. The TMD fans may be an interesting design but they certainly aren't music to my ears ..

I thought the thing was silent, couldnt hear it.

dunno. couldnt hear it over the 4 other case fans.

Silent ? Surely you must be joking!

This is one of the discomforts I have with the overclocking community at large... There shouldn't so much subjectivity over what constitutes "silent", especially when you are trying to give suggestions to people about what to buy or not buy.. It is often the case that people's sanity hangs in the balance with respect to noise generated by fans.

It cools pretty well, but it is somewhat loud, I think I am going to switch to a zalman cooling solution soon.

i have it for my amd...
no complaints there...

my friend has the p4 one and he loves it...

but i did hear the zalman is a lot quieter...

for the vantec i have no complaints tho

Ok, here is my problem

I have Pentium 4 2.5a in Asus P4T-E board.

With the retail Pentium 4 fan at 3100+ rpm my cpu worked between 40 and 45 degrees, I changed to aeroflow to get a better cooling solution because I'm planning to overclock, but the cpu temperature with the new fan at 5400+ rpm and in the same enviorment is sometimes worst than 45 degrees.

How can this be????
