Not sure where to post this but I think this is the right forum. I am running an MSI NEO2 Platinum in an Antec P160 case. When I plug my headphones into the front panel headphone jack, my left and right channels are reversed.
I double checked to make sure I plugged everything in correctly on the mobo. The Antec P160 front panel cables are a bit different...they have a 10-pin plugthat can be used to plug into the mobo header and it only goes in one way (I think it is called Intel Standard interface or something like that - I can't find the book to confirm). The 10-pin plug also breaks out into individual wires for compatibility with mobos that don't have this "standard" jack.
Anyway, I tried manually connecting the wires making sure to reverse the L and R "audio output" (green and orange) wires but then that gives me no sound out of the headphone jack. Not sure what to do now. I remember seeing somewhere where I could "reverse" the L/R channels from some setting in Windows but I can' find it. Maybe it wasn't in windows but in a game...i forget.
In any case, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks!
