Reverse the ratio?

If you want to up the multiplayer and lower the bus speed for your cpu, could you reverse the ratio for your ram so it could be 4/3 rather than 3/4?
 
because changing the ratio changes ram speed. if you change ram speed to something your ram can't run.. well, yeah ;)
