Bitches shouldn't have did something that needed revenge upon. Don't do bad shit, and don't get shit happen. Of course, all this is under the assumption that, the women did do something like cheat. Or got them aids.

This guy screwed up when he tried to get in the business of what amounted to extortion. Had he stuck to allowing Exes to post photos of exes they had taken there would be little that could have been done. I would not expect the new revenge porn law in CA to withstand review per item 1.

Wouldn't have saved him from how many hundreds of counts of the misdemeanor and the crazy aggregate amount of the fines.

I'm not really against this idea. Anyone allowing nude photos being taken of themselves expecting them to never see the light of day are just foolish.

Really. I has pics of my ex-wife. The breakup and divorce were bad. After she moved out, she asked for the pics.....and I gave them to her.

It's not that simple. I don't think any rational person who allows themselves to have their goods photographed is just allowing ANYONE to take the picture. I'm going to guess that they really believe that their relationship is a permanent one, and that they're just having fun with their significant other.

Especially in the case of married people. A marriage is supposed to last a lifetime. You can guarantee that those pictures were taken with the idea that no one else would see them. The person who took the photos and turned them over should be held liable as well, because that's just a downright evil thing to do to a person. Truly despicable.

True, personal responsibility could have prevented this from happening to them. But come on man, don't tell me that you don't feel ANY sympathy for them? I'm sure if you thought about your children, siblings, parents, whoever you hold dear - and the thought of something like this happening to them - surely you'd be comforting them right? And not telling them how they're not victims and how it's really their fault? Despite the fact that the person they trusted enough to take those pictures and keep it to themselves have deeply betrayed them?

This isn't about feminism. It's about being a decent human being.

We all do foolish things. Taking advantage over someone who is doing something foolish is still wrong, no matter how you want to spin it. We keep talking about personal responsibility here. What about the person who takes advantage of these peoples' "foolishness" and posts the pictures without their consent? Are they not personally responsible?
 
All I know is I don't take pictures of my wife nor will I. She's mine and not for anyone's else' viewing pleasure. God I'd never want to think I messed up and other people got pictures of her and that I'd been responsible for it in any way. It's just not going to happen. Now I am old, and I'll never let her think I equate my age to hers, most people wouldn't rank her looks all that highly but that woman is a Queen in my eyes. She's only ever loved me and stuck by me through everything. Some days she's a nag and a bitch but fuck you all, She's MY Bitch :cool:

Personal responsibility? What about the personal responsibility of the asshole uploading the photos shared with the implicit/explicit acknowledgement that they be private? Man, I hope no women trust some of the people in these threads.

I'll say this, I'm so f'ing thankful I'm not going through grade school or high school in the days of the ever-present internet and social media. It was pretty f'ing hard as it was, without the trolling and sexting and all the bullshit being up in your face 24/7 and visible to the whole school.
 
If the pictures were taken in confidence, it is dishonorable to later upload them. That is true regardless of whatever dishonorable acts the female significant others may or may not have taken. Nobody can argue with this.
 
Unfortunate as it may be, it seems honor and legality rarely coexist in our space time continuum.
 
I just checked the details of this 'ugotposted' case.

The guy does deserve prison time, but a possible 18 years? (10 years minimum) Like I said, I think that most rapists don't even get that much, unless I'm wrong. I assume that the extortion of these girls made the punishment so extreme and most likely they also want to prevent copycats like myex, ThePornDude,... to continue their site, since the guy was doing pretty good moneywise.

Revenge porn is here to stay though, but it's nice that future victims have the law on their side, although once something is on the internet, it's near impossible to get it totally removed.

Maybe schools can educate students in sex education class? If girls are better informed about the consequences of sending 'nudies' to their boyfriend, then we'll see less destroyed lives in the future.
 
All the internet is filled with this revenge sites problem. Isn't this taken care by the authorities? They tell us that we can feel save and they have so many problems finding and closing some internet sites? This is messed up. I think that we can help by not watching these kind of sites which would make the owners close the sites themselves because without trafic they can't earn anything. I personally watch sites that protect and assure the right for the content they show like Chaturbate, Fapshows and xHamster.

Well, there's this thing about old people being sort of scary to look at when they're not wearing clothes. Most of the guys have like age spots, flake-prune skin, and floptastic stomachs and the women are either your mom or are like someone else's mom and everyone's losing the fight with gravity.

Men are in general wired to go for younger women which is why there are a lot of pedo guys around and they're also basically wired for being superficially judgemental when looks are concerned. They're also like constantly equating everything to sex or thinking about sex (when they're not drunk or trying to puff up their tail feathers by racing someone else in their stupid car while driving to work). All those things combine to make them the primary viewers of porn and they encourage/support younger, more attractive women to photograph themselves then betray their trust by posting the pics online to get revenge for being dumped because they turned out to be inadequate or defective since they feel offended and need to get even.

All those man things span generations because they're basic parts of how men have always thought and acted which means stupid knows no generational barriers except those imposed by the person taking the pics who's usually taking advantage of a younger woman who also happens to be a little bit dumber than her peers because the guy used the word "love" and she's stupidly falling for it.

In reality I think the same or worse happened 50 years ago everyone just kept it hush hush. As I get older my father tells me some pretty messed up stories. Every generation will have it's mix of people. It has a lot more visibility now.

This is turning into a very big marketing opportunity for the porn sites. I saw that almost all the sites like xHamster, gayreign.com and pornhub releasing disclamers on big news sites. They say that the content is user uploaded and they don't respond for it but they offer all the help to remove the wrong content. For me it is just marketing.
