Reusing CPU Fan?

Hey guys quick question. I got a nice Zalman CPU fan on my old rig that I want to use for my new build. Can I just take this Zalman fan off the old processor and put the stock AMD one for the old rig? What do I do with the cooling paste? Clean it off before I reinstall it?

Ideally, you have to replace the paste.

And you'll have to replace the K8 bracket before the stock heatsink can go on. I believe the Zalman 7 series simply used a bolt through.
