Hey all

Just wanted some advise. Basically I received a Dell 2005fpw and I love it, however I had 3 dead pixels and some backlighting issues on it. So I requested a replacement and it has a stuck/dead pixel close to the center of the screen. I have read that there is a possible way to massage the stuck/dead pixel out. Is this correct? Also the pixel is white so doesn't that mean it is dead and there is no way of fixing it. Also I checked with Dell and they referred me here . I thought dell had a 1 pixel return policy not 6. Anyway some advice is greatly appreciated.

wow, we really needed a new thread, thanks
I thought my question was specific enough to warrant it's own thread. Otherwise it would just get lost in 45+ pages in the other thread. Thx for the thread crap though.

oh yes your question is specific. but the other thread is flooded with the same question and pictures too. You can't get lost in the other thread since 80% of the thread is about backlight leaking and dead pixels. Even the last page is about that same issue. you're just lazy.
