Restricting/Configuring DL and UL Speeds on the DG834G

I am trying to configure my ADSL router to impose DL and UL restriction on the individual connections, so that can download multiple files and play games on the X360 without any disruption. Problem is, on the Netgear DG834G v3, I can't find such option.

I am missing something or does the DG834G lacks such particular option? If that is the case, what is the alternative?
 
You need to have a router with a QoS engine. (Quality of Service). This let's you prioritize and configure what applications / network devices get priority over each other. Some QoS engines let you set bandwidth caps on applications too. However I don't think that Netgear from what I see has QoS built into it's firmware.
Either you need to get a new router (I use a D-Link DiR-655, and it has a great QoS engine) or you can flash the firmware on your Netgear with maybe something like DD-WRT. A free firmware you can download.
