This is kind of neat. I can think of better uses for projection mapping but this would certainly make waiting for your meal a lot more bearable.

This. A thousand times this. I'm the son of a master mechanic. I've grown up in an auto shop. I can work on cars blindfolded, but I'd love to see a serious attempt at making a mechanics life into easy mode.
