I've oced my 2800+ for awhile now and recently ive noticed that when i restart some times, my computer will begin to boot, but my keyboard, mouse, and monitor, dont seem to get any signal but i see it booting up my cd-roms and harddrives.

I stopped ocing to see if that would fix the problem but it still seems to happen every once in a while what could be causing this, im running off of a somewhat old 350W PSU should i get a better one?
 
Increased Voltage to the CPU increases your stability (while running the OS).

I have found that sometimes when I do a warmboot my RAID controllers don't alway come back online. So I've gotten into the practice of always doing a Cold Boot.

Cold Boot == power off for a few seconds... then boot back up instead of using reset switch.
 
I've been getting the same problem with my O/Ced 3500+. It seems to go away if I drop the CPU back to stock. I've just gotten used to shutting down completely myself. I'm using a brand new Antec Neopower480, so I doubt its caused by the psu. If anyone knows whats causing this I'd be interested also.

Well shutting down completely is the way i've been doing it because if i dont i have that problem so i guess the solution would be to a) more voltage, b) better psu, c)just get into the habit of shutting down instead of restarting
 
whats your vdimm and vcore now? and what is the idel/load temps
 
Hmmm...people are so quick to say increase your voltage but they don't even bother to ask what is your current voltage. If you haven't increased it yet, try bumping it up a bit. Try another PSU if you can - if that works you've nailed it down. This sounds like one of those problems that you really need to start switching parts out to figure out the problematic component.

I've had this issue once before and all it took was switching the power strip it was plugged into. Weird but true.
 
im not on my computer right now but i believe that my vcore is at 1.71 i raised it from ocing to 1.65, and i was having that problem with the higher voltage i tried lowering when i put it back to stock speeds and it didnt seem to help the problem at all any other suggestion... I have another psu that is smaller 300W that i could try but its smaller than my 350W so i dont think it will help
 
reset the bios and go back to default settings till u get a new PSU dood.
