How are you supposed to handle EUE's? I'm experiencing EUE's with all three of the newest GPU2 WUs - 2794, 2795, and 2796. All other GPU2 units finish just fine. However, I've been processing quite a few of the older units the past few days and now find that I am getting more and more of these new units only to find that they end up EUE.

Am I causing harm to the project by accepting units only to have them EUE? Do I stop running this client altogether because three projects EUE? It's frustrating because I was very productive until these three new projects came along. I don't mind the slight loss in PPD to find that these end up in an EUE state, I just don't want to cause any harm to the overall goals of the project accepting them in the first place knowing they will end up in an EUE state.

Thanks

Work units that EUE are normally reissued by Stanford to someone else. The only 'harm' that can occur is a slowdown in that particular project, but overall harm to the F@H project is negligible. I wish there was a sure-fire way to prevent certain WUs from being received but there isn't any way that I know of except for setting certain flags, but these measures are more global in effectiveness and don't always target specific WUs.

So, the best advice I can offer ATM is to stick it through and hope Stanford will do something about it (if it's on their end). I am in a similar situation with the P3062 SMP WUs. Most of these EUE on my machines but there's no way I can select to avoid them, unfortunately. :(

The best thing you can do is report all your EUE's Here.
The way Stanford can pick up more quickly that there could be a problem.
You can also check if anybody else is having problem with this woek unit.

Depending on the type of EUE and if it left a result in the work folder, you can use Qfix.exe to repair the queue.dat file so any partial results get sent back.
Instructions Here.

It only get annoying when you've the same work unit 4 times, with exactly the same result each time.

Luck ............ :D
