i am trying to get this ibm 300pl to work.. and it didn't install the nic.. so i go to install it.. and it is conflicting with the onboard sound and shit.... so i set the IRQ to 07 and the other one "input/output range" to 0390-039F... and it won't work "the device cannot start. (Code 10)" so yeah... what do i do? i downloaded the damn drivers... so i would be pissed if it was wrong... i haven't had to manually set irq crap in 10 years... stuff used to just work as long as the jumper was the same as what you specified (damn.. computer are getting easier to build)
