Here is the deal, on June 4th 2009 I bought an Antec 900 case from him. He claimed he was going to ship it out on saturday, the 4th was a thursday i believe, and there was no problem with him shipping it out on saturday. Here is the thread on which the item was listed, Antec 900 thread.

From there on there was barely any communication and while i waited for the package he did not visit the forums. His last visit had been the 8th and i decided to message him once the package had not arrived in more than a week. It took him until the 14th to reply back to me and he said he would ship it the next day and that he would have a tracking number for me and that he had been really busy.

I completely understood and i was not worried since he replied back to me as soon as he signed on. However, it is now the 19th and there is no package nor tracking number, he has not signed in since the 14th and it has been two weeks since i paid.

His heat was good: Darkmessenger03

I have tried to contact him through to email with no response, i may post the pm's since they are brief and to the point.

Any help will be appreciated thanks.

Email him. Here is his email ssmith0386@yahoo.com i got it from his heatware. he might be having to deal with something right now, but i am thinking he will either ship it soon or give you your money back because he was good heat and been here over 3 years.

I tried the email and warned that if he did not reply back i would be posting here, I am hopeful he will ship it or he has just really been really busy.

which is what im thinking, i understand your point of vie though, i mean it has been 2 weeks. I say wait one more weeka nd if still no reply or case, then file a paypal claim.

After 10-14 days of them having your money, I'd open a claim. Its one of the easiest ways to motivate someone to get their ass in gear if they havent already.

Thanks, I'm going to try his email again. I really hope that he is busy and that nothing bad has happened to him since he has not been logged in since the 14th, it seems like all his other deals went through fine so I'm going to see if he responds back to me by Monday and if not i will have to leave a claim.

If your too busy to ship, then that person has no business selling, barring an emergency.

It's been 17 days and there is no communication, file the claim. I can't see you receiving the Antec case.

Since there has been minimal communication, and immediate when he signed on, i gave him the benefit of doubt. However, I am tired of waiting and i have opened a dispute, should I go ahead and file a claim? How do I go about doing it?

I've never ran into this problem before, thanks.

thekoolninja06,

I would give paypal a call. Let them know you'd like to file a claim.

I filed a claim on yesterday and i am now waiting, should i also call paypal? Is it necessary after the claim has been filed, and would they speed up the process?

Once you file the claim, the rest is up to Paypal. You've done all you can for the time being.

how did you pay? cash funded paypal or c/c funded paypal?
If money is gone from the seller's account and u paid paypal cash funded then paypal will do two things, jack and shit. If you paid c/c just contact them and they will yank the funds out of paypal and credit it back to you.

It was non-cc, basically a bank transfer. I did supply paypal with a lot of information regarding the sale and it was noted that sale was specifically for an antec 900 case from hardforums.

Since you've got tracking, I've removed his name from the title, and locked this for the time being. If there are further issues, just shoot an FS/T mod a PM and we'll reopen
