Hey [H], for some reason I cannot set my resolution higher than 1920x1080. I had it set to 3840 x 2160 previously but for some reason it is now set to 1920x1080 and that shows as being the highest. I am running a 1080Ti with the latest drivers and a Sony X900-F (4K TV). Under both Display Settings and Nvidia Control Panel 1920x1080 shows as the max resolution.

Got me, thanks for any help.

<facepalm>I figured it out, I must have switched cables, and plugged the monitor into the secondary display port that is using an HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. </facepalm>

Man, the amount of time I have been caught out by the wrong cable and adaptors. Or different capabilities on different ports on a monitor.

It’s gonna get worse too. I was banging my head against the wall with my father in law because he couldn’t understand that his hdmi cable didn’t support 4K deep color / 4:4:4 with his Apple TV. No you don’t need a a $100 monster cable, just buy a recent one for $15. Gahhhhhh

Thunderbolt 3 vs USB C is another one.
