Residue on slk900u

When I peeled the protective film off my 900u, it left a sticky residue (probably due to the fact that it had been sitting around for 3 months). I cleaned it with a eye-glass cheaning cloth and some isopropyl alcohol until I couldn't see it anymore. Could there still be any of the sticky stuff in the tiny crevices of the heatsink and if so how do I get rid of it? I don't want to be paranoid but if I can do something to drop my temps a couple degrees I'll be happy (temps are fine already).

Even if there is, it's very unlikely it'll affect your temps more than 0.5c. Just clean it well with 90+% pure isopropyl and then apply thermal compound as directed and you should be fine.
