Resharing Files

Ok all I have a question for you.. Here is the problem at work we are reconfiguring our SANS unit to finally take advantage of the 1 TB of storage out of the 3 TB that is not being seen and while doing this might be simple it is not we have to move all of our USERS 500GB worth of storage folders to another server for a temp time. The problem comes when we need to reshare the folder as you might know when you copy data the SHARE does not follow with it so we have to reshare the folder and redoing 1800 folders could take awhile. Does anyone know of a good way to copy files while taking the shares with them..??? please let me know.
