reset CTR memory

ok i have a 17ctr that works and has a good picture (for a ctr. im m poor) the only problem it has is that a few of the buttons to adjust the brightness and stuff dont work :/ so i got a new monitor...

a few months later i plug it up for the hell of it and it works

the other day the brightness got turned down :eek:

i cant wait a few months this time... any idea how i can reset its memory?
 
Monitor type and model would help us help you. Some monitors have a reset hole or button near controls.:)
