well I have a e6420 never overlocked and my friend has one just a little bit faster and he said that the chips we have dont resell for alot, i told him bull$hit people still want these chips. He talked about quads and new chips coming out. yaadda yaada yaada.So he said why dont you post and see what others have to say. I just want to prove him wrong, thanks for reading.
 
I had an E6400 and had it for about a year, an I unloaded it right before the 45mn chips came out. I was able to sell that chip and a P5l-vm motherboard for 200.00. If I was to sell it today I could only get 80-85 for the chip and about 40 for the board.

4300/4500-~70/80
6300-6400 -~80/85
6550/6600-100/110

This is the trend i'm seeing.
 
The above pricing seems pretty accurate to me based on what I've seen for used processors. If it's a boxed retail one and you throw in the goodies (original box, Intel stock HSF, case badge, etc) then throw a few bucks more on the price for good measure. Hell, right now I'd love to get an E6xxx series just to get a bump up from the Celeron 430 I have, but remarkably for a single core it's pretty snappy in most day to day stuff.
 
haha damn, these chips do lose value fast, anyways if i do get rid of this chip i will let you know joe :) my laptop > desktop atm.. hahah
