So, im prepping my computer to overclock gently for the first time and install the newest bios and turn CI2E and Speedstep off. Afterwards my computer boots fine and a restart to start overclocking.

I go into bios and switched the memory from auto to linked at 1:1 ratio. I have not touched my CPU yet and then I reboot.

Then shit hits the fan. My mobo beeps. 1 long beep and 2 short beeps and wont load to bios. All I friggin did was change the ratio to 1:1 linked! Help is greatly appreciated.

Im on a XPS630i with a 650i chipset. Yes it is overclockable and again, i only changed the ration from 2:3 to 1:1. Help me with this problem please!

Both of the GPU fans are running as normal as well.

Reset the CMOS. There may be a jumper to reset on the board, but if you don't have a manual, it would be very hard to find. In that case, just unplug the PC's power cable running from the wall to the PSU, and then remove the CMOS battery (looks like an oversized watch battery, it's plugged into the motherboard itself somewhere. Leave the battery out and hit the power button on the PC 5 or so times to expel any tiny electrical charges left over. Leave things this way for at least 30 seconds, and then replace the battery and see if you can get back into BIOS.

Is everything else at stock? Changing the RAM ratio from 2:3 to 1:1 should have lowered the RAM speed, which should've been fine. Are you sure you didn't change any other settings, besides the RAM ratio and C1E and/or Speedstep?
