• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Hello,

I try to help out the mods when I see flames or other inappropriate posts that I think should be looked at. Usually I use the little alert icon for reporting (looks like a yield sign). Today I got a pm from a mod that had the subject "enough" and asked me to stop reporting them.

Am I doing something wrong?

And yes, we do like members to help us police the forums, we could not do it without you guys. That said, we are looking for rule breakers, not people being annoying to you. :D

The 'report a post' feature is the best thing since sliced white bread. As Kyle said it is a great help to the mods/admins since we can't be everywhere at once. We depend on the members to self police the forum by way of the report button, but several members have gone a little overboard in reporting the slightest infraction. Many times I will check out a report and find absolutely nothing. If you report a post and you see nothing has happened to the perceived infraction, chances are that it did not warrant administrative action. Keep on reporting, but be sure it is against forum rules, not just a personal annoyance.
