Now I guess replaygain "works" as it should; it makes the "volume" for all my songs equal. However it has a bad side effect, when ever I make heavy use out of my cpu (I have a p4 3.0 HT) Foobar "skips" persay. It gets annoying really quick. I tried all the Replaygain options under Preferences->Playback, but nothing. Now it goes away when I remove replaygain from my songs. I know you'll say "Well just leave it off", but I really want the volume on all my songs the same, it gets annoying when I have to change the volume on my speakers everytime it switches songs. Is their an alternitive to Replaygain, or maybe a fix? Thanks...

Replaygain should have no effect on CPU usage at all... but if you want to reduce skipping in general, increase your buffer size.
Yes, you need to scan the files beforehand (I'm going on my memory that foobar can do this on the fly as well).
Otherwise, you can use a program called MP3Gain to adjust the volume. This volume change is more universal, as it will also affect playback even when Replaygain is not supported. It can be undone as well (the undo information is stored in the tags iirc)

ReplayGain doesn't do anything to the quality of the file right? I used ReplayGain once but it didn't work as well as it should have, so I removed the info, all my files ended up a little larger in file size, so I'm not sure what it did to my files to make them larger

The reason why the files would change size is because foobar natively tags in APEv2 tags, so it would have appended those tags [now empty] to the end of each file. I'm sure that the tags are also padded to 4k or something of the like to make adding tags easier.
