Hey guys,

I picked up a Videologic Sirocco 2.1 system a while back, and really like the sound. It uses high quality audax drivers and and an external amp which houses the speaker's active crossovers. The design works really well, sounds tight and controlled with the sub taking of the mid-bass/low end. It works really for my small office, but has recently started playing up

It's 10 years old so to be expected really.. Short of buying a set of monitors, are there any manufactures out there making similar systems today (active x-over, 2.1 etc..)?

Thanks,
Dawson

I remember those used to be pretty well reviewed back in the day.

The only thing that really comes to mind that might be close is this.

Thanks for the link John. I'm a bit green since I've only paid £50 for the Siroccos 2nd hand - Looks like I will have to spend a lot to top it! Luckily, I have won another set on eBay for £50, not complete but will come in handy for spares when mine gives up the ghost.

To anyone who finds a set of these cheap: these golden oldies are well worth buying. Stellar quality, and can be bought for about 20% of the r.r.p (£250).
