Hey all. I've had Logitech's Z-340 2.1 speaker set for about a year now, and it's a pretty good setup, but I think it's time for an upgrade of some sorts. I primarily listen to music, though I do a bit of gaming--not a lot, but I own Doom 3, and I've already purchased HL2 Silver over Steam. I don't intend to play CS:Source.
Given that I'm on a plain old Audigy 2, would a change from the Z-340 to, say, the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 yield a difference in sound quality enough to justify the money? Or is there another 2.1 set that would get the job done?
I'm not looking for surround speaker setups: I'm in a small dorm room, and I really don't have a use for the extra three speakers. A plain old 2.1 set is all I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance for any help!
