Replacing the W7 RC

I have a friend that needs to get rid of the RC, and they have a legit copy of W7 Pro. Problem is, they have no cd-rom drive. Even if I got the cd burnt, I'd have to tear a drive out of my computer for them to use. My question is if there is a way to upgrade fully by mounting an iso of it in windows ( it was a digital download ).

Check out http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1381323. You can install from a 4GB flash drive.

I don't believe there's any way to install it from a copy mounted on your HDD (at least your primary) as it has to be freshly installed (and thus formatted) when moving from the RC.

That's right. I didn't even think of a usb drive. Thanks! I just gotta find a 4gb drive now.
