Ok i have the klispch 4.1 system and i was wondering if i coupld replace the sub for maybe a louder one???? or better quality??

Im sure it shouldnt be hard I dont know where to start or if someone else has tried it before.

I have these same speakers. The only issue that I can immediately think of that the sub handles all of the crossover and amplification for the 4 satellite speakers. On top of that, the control for the sub uses a wire from the control module on the front right speaker. You may know more than I on replacing these components, but to me, it would be difficult to accomplish, and not blow the satellites in the process.

I'm not sure how you could replace it, but you could definitely add a second stand alone subwoofer, then just dial the Klipsch subwoofer control down to 0 if you don't want it. Are you just wanting to replace the drivers?

Unfortunately it is not possible. Klipsch 4.1 satellites are really weak, have 4 Ohm resistance and use proprietary connectors. I had the same system and just replaced it completely. No regrets whatsoever.

Yeah i was looking to just replace the driver. Just go online get a new sub and install. I have installed my on 12"s in my car but dont know if its the same concept here.
