I have 512 meg of pc 3500 DDR433 ram in my Abit IS7 with a P 2.4. I would like to change my ram I have 1 gig of Geil pc 3200 ddr 400 ( both in dual channel ). When i replace the memory I just removed the old and put in the new. This made my cpu run at 1.2, not sure what i am doing wrong. Someone said clear the cmos and replace ram then boot up is this correct. When I put the old ram back in everything was fine.
