Hi - I'm trying to get my computer a bit more quiet. Right now it's ridiculously loud. It has 4 80mm case fans and a 60mm heatsink fan. The 60mm fan is by far the most loud, but also the most important of them all. I should also mention that the PSU fans are dead silent. Lastly - I'd like to replace the fan on my video card (Gainward GF4 TI4200) - as it's also quite loud. For the 60mm fan I was thinking I'd get a vantec stealth. For the 4 80mms I was also thinking I might get stealths, but being that they're somewhat expensive ($10 each at zzf) - it might be better to find a cheaper fan that maybe doesn't move as much air but is as quiet. Any suggestions for that? Finally - for the video card - I'm not sure what to do. It rivals the 60mm hsf as being the noisiest fan in my system - but what exactly do I replace it with? Thanks, and sorry if this is in the wrong forum - I looked at the OC & C forum but it seems to be more about hardcore cooling, not little ol fans...

Just do the research and look for the best CFM/dbl ratio you can find/afford.

Places like SVC and PCToys.com (keep in mind, anything that says its PCToys is just a rebadged Vantec...like the Stealth).

Oh, and here is a good replacement for your GPU : http://www.pctoys.com/840556035404.html

Big fan of panaflos, as alot of people will probably reccomend. Directron.com sells alot of them, for good prices I recall. I've got a Stealth in my HTPC right now, and they do run very quiet as well, if your coming from a super loud machine, either should be good news to your ears.
