Replacing APC SUA1500 UPS battery, some questions (semi urgent maybe?)

About 8 months ago I got one of these from Ebay for about $125:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842101130
It had the battery included, and the battery had a decent amount of charge. So it's been chugging away and protecting my computer from brownouts, everything's fine. Suddenly today I look over and notice that the red "Replace Battery" light is on. I didn't notice it till now, not sure how long it's been on. I don't have any funky chemical smell or anything, so it's not like they're melting down. The charge level is still at max on the bar indicator on the right.

So a few questions:
1. Where's the best place to get a replacement battery? ie best deal and whatnot, just in case anyone else has one of these and knows where to go. I've never done this before as this is my first UPS.
2. Do I need a "kit" or just the barebones batteries? Not sure what the distinction is for.
3. Is this anything that needs to be taken care of immediately? Like do I need to drop everything and unplug everything from it and replace the batteries, or is it just saying that they're kinda old and I should get some ones with better charge?

Thanks.

You should replace them pretty soon what it usualy indicates is one of the batteries has a bad cell.
If you take a meter to the battery one will likely read lower than the other.
That is a good indication of impending worse problems.

Kits include the wiring bare batteries don't.
Since wires don't wear out it does not matter much.

I bought this kit and it lasted 3 years. The originals lasted 4.

My apartment has very bad power with frequent 2min brownouts which kills batteries.
I have also used these and so far so good.

beware of outfits claiming apc batteries on amazon most are not real apc batteries.
Real apc battery packs runs $170+

Mmmm dunno if I wanna trust TigerDirect, I've read some people having their packages misplaced and crap... and batteries are particularly fragile. Should I open mine up and see if I can take the wiring kit off of the ones that are already in there? It seems bare batteries are less expensive...

I think I'll probably just go with those ones you linked on Amazon though. 84 bucks and free shipping, looks good. What's the warranty?

"18-Month Warranty, 60-Day Money Back Guarantee"

Sorry, derp moment. To my credit I was only working on one hour of sleep....

I am actually waiting for a payment so I can order a set for one of mine.
I think I am going to go with these:

Seems like you can only order at a certain time. Putting this, ABC and Tigerdirect's APC modules aside, does anyone know of any other options? Surely more people use this wonderful UPS, it's pretty good (especially at its bargain price on Ebay).

Edit: Also, what about this?

I would not buy an open box battery.
There is a good chance its not fresh.

I believe that should be same day shipping if ordered before 3pm.
I ordered the last set from them at 2am and it was free shipping.

On there company page on amazon it says:

Chrome Battery Shipping Policies

Orders placed before 3pm EST during business hours, Monday through Friday, will be shipped the same day as the order was placed. Any orders placed after 3pm will typically be shipped the following business day. If an order is received over the weekend, the order will be processed and shipped on Monday.

Edit: I went on chat and confirmed that. They are going to have amazon change it to more accurate wording.

I think I'm just gonna order that then. I went on OCN to see if anyone else had some ideas but no one posted, so I'm not gonna waste any more time with it. It's somewhat worrying that it's only guaranteed for 1.5 years, but well whatever.

Edit:... Actually it told me it couldn't ship to my address... that's kind of baffling.

Bah, I just went and bought the American Battery Company one. Longer warranty anyway, so the money's not all wasted. Plus it's directly from Amazon so I can ship it back if I have any issues.
