I just sold my gtx 570 and was looking for something similar. It needs to drive 2-3 monitors @1920x1200, and be as cool and quiet as possible. I was thinking of purchasing another nvidia card, but they do not have anything in the $250-300 range this gen (not until later this year).

I did some research, and saw a few people mentioning the 7850's as being the best bang for the buck, and relatively close to the 570s in performance at 1920x1200. Based on those posts, I'm thinking of getting one of these :

Asus Dc2

Gigabyte Dual Fan

Sapphire HD

I've never had any of these brands before, but I like the way the Asus dc2 looks. Any thoughts on which might be the best?

Dude you have a 4.2GHz 2600k, an M4 SSD, 16GB ram, NEC2490WUXi, 1KW psu, dual or triple screens ... just get a 7970 or 680, lol

I would at least get a 670 or 7950 if you want to drive multiple monitors.

Classified Ultrta 580 gtx? Could pick one on ebay for probably around 250

Code:
def simple():
    budget = input("Your budget: ")
    current = "gtx570"
    if budget <= 300 and current == "gtx570":
        print "wait until gtx 660 comes out.\nREASON: No card under $300 matches the GTX 570's performance atm."
    elif budget >= 300:
        print "Grab a GTX 670.\nREASON: The best card to get for > $300 at around $400."

simple()
