Yeah, I know, the kit is shit. whatever. It's working fine, does what I need, and more than that, I can't afford to mess with it right now. I just need a new pump. So, are there any decent ones out there that will mount up to the current Bigwater 1/4" tubes?
 
sorry not sure it does seem hard to find 1/4 pumps but maybe you can use a 3/8 fitting pump, im not sure though.
 
the M5 from TT should be fine.. 500lph, major improvement from your 90lph

Thanks, that looks great. Now to decide if I want to totally convert it over to that system (replace the bay res.) or not. Probably will, actually... Flush the system and swap the bay res with that one and stuff.

That thing is soooo tiny!

You mean the tubes right?115 x 105 x 55mm (L x W x H) Alphacool ap700 seems a little big. I have the pump and the size is what is discouraging me. I am thinking of getting the modded alphacool/laing ddc clear top for my swiftech mcp350.

Sharka's website pic makes the pump look small. Sharka has great customer service though.
 
ahhh - those look like "plug&cool" fittings.

btw - that pump has G 1/4" threading if you'd rather go to the hardware store or order different barbs...

just want it to work with my 1/4" pipe :) I'm going to give it a try.

well, whatever they are, they don't work.

At all.

Unless you count leaking everywhere working. :p

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I pushed the pipe in as hard as I could. filled the system, and it started leaking out around both fittings (without even turning it on, so no pressure).
 
Note to all: don't buy that pump. it literally tore in half during construction.

I'm buying the TT with the res. get it working that way.

edit: note, this was partially my fault, and I'll admit that, but the design of the fitting up top is a little weak and can break pretty easy. :p

Just ordered the Eheim 1046, a res, and new tubing all around.

check the radiator pics. The seal on the fittings above the impellor came apart while i was tightening a hose clamp, and it flew apart. Won't seal now.

I would like to note though, that sharka saw this thread and contacted me on their own about those fittings ~not~ working with the tubing I had (kudos to you, you've earned my business from here no out).
 
killed the mobo with leaks. back to aircooling for me for now, gotta keep this system stable for a while.
