well i finished my first build a day or so ago and im hearing about how my ultra xconnect 2 was a bad choice and yes i am noticing it is a little loud. i cant return it becaseu i mailed in th e rebate already, total comes out to only 80 that why i bought it. but this was before i got the rest of my stuff. it is modular and sli ready 550w but i want somethin better, also because my case blocks the psu and thas was one of the resason i bought it because it looked nice. so far

i would prefer modular and i maybe addin a second 7900 in teh future so sli is good.
quietness is important
 
Who said the X-Connect2 was a bad choice? They're actually pretty good. In terms of noise though, they could probably improve there.
