I came across a web page that sells replacement 15" and 17" LCD laptop screens and I was thinking about the modding possibilities therein.

Anyone ever try hooking a laptop screen to a normal motherboard?

What are the connectors like on a laptop screen? Could they be spliced into a normal 25-pin (or whatever) monitor jack type thing?

What about power requirements?
