Recently im having problems with my Samsung syncmaster 214T (PVA) not powering up propperly (Turnning power on off for about 10 minutes before the screen stays on, after which it continues to work well.) Now i want to keep about the same hight in screen so i though about taking a 24" with a resolution of 1920x1200. Also i want about the same color reproduction so an IPS or LPS monitor, and also a screen which isnt so grainy looking.

Besdies this i want to use the monitor mainly for gaming and some 3d design.

Now i' ve looked up a few monitors but am not yet certain which would be the best. So far i have narrowed it down to:

Eizo - EV2436W
Or
Samsung - S24A850WD

Which would you think will be the best overal in color reproduction / response times / input lag / BLB / Coating?

The EV2436W has been reported to have a heavy AG coating similar to the Dell 2412.

The S24A850WD has a semiglossy coating been known for terrible BLB.

My SM215TW i still very good but I want an upgrade so I am in the same boat. The more I read the more difficult it is to get a new monitor.
