Replacement for Koss KSC-75s

I got my 3 pairs of Koss KSC-75s over 3 years when they are on sale at Radioshack, and they've served me very well. Unfortunately, due to alot of wear and abuse, my last pair is finally starting to give out (the first pair actually kicked the bucket the same year I bought them, the second quit some time last year). I'm looking for a replacement that has the same portability and price/performance as these did. I did some search around, and the Yuin PK-3 was mentioned on a thread at Head-Fi, I also stumbed upon this thread that suggests alot of nice alternatives. I'm still looking though, and wanted to see if anyone here had any recommendations.

To reiterate, I want something portable and has good SQ for the money like the KSC-75s did. I mainly used them at work, at the gym, and generally when I'm away from my desktop. I'd prefer earbuds or 'sportclips' or whatever the hell Koss called it, because they will be less likely to put my head in a vice.

Short answer: Yes, the PK3s are good.

Long answer:
I did research about 2 years ago on good earbuds (specifically not in-ears, but ear buds) and Yuins were the only ones around. I personally have the PK3s and they are quite good. My only minor complaint is the J-cord on them, which I think the PK2s have the Y-cord to fix that. I personally think the PK3s sound better than unmodded KSC75s.

As for the price/performance argument... nothing beats the KSC75s in price/performance, but I doubt you'd be disappointed with the Yuins.
 
I'm no audiophile, but I can at least tell you to believe the hf thread on the audio technica's. I have the ath-em7's which aren't too far from relation with the ew9's, and they do lack in bass. I think they sound great otherwise and they are incredibly light and feel great on the ears.
 
Koss has a lifetime warranty. Ship it to koss with a $6 check to koss.
 
if you buy the G2A. put the koss clips on them for improved bass performance.

bass is not as bloated / tighter on the Yuin's.
