Hey all, so my ACD is showing signs of dying. Vertical white lines popping up. Probably still has at least a year left in it or more, but this is a 2011 display and I thought I'd get the ball rolling on what current tech is out there as a viable replacement. I love nearly everything about this monitor, though. Perfect color accuracy, WQHD IPS display, glossy, beautiful aesthetic, does well in gaming, you name it. I've searched endlessly online and can't seem to find anything that matches it that works on PC's, even at higher price points (I payed $600 for this used some years ago). I work in phootgraphy and video, so pro color accuracy, high quality IPS, and glossy are mandatory.

So would anyone have any suggestions on a replacement? I'm open to 4k as well, not just 1440p. I've tried the Dell Ultrasharp 27" and didn't like it at all. Could never get the colors right and I absolutely hate any non-glossy finish. Thanks very much for any help.

One note: I did find this - Hazro HZ27WiDP Review - TFTCentral but the input lag sounds like it's much worse than the ACD, though I'm not sure. I read somewhere that the ACD is 12ms total as opposed to the 22ms here.

There are so few displays out there that meet those requirements unfortunately. I settled on the HP 27xw. It's pretty much perfect. Glossy, great color accuracy, fast pixel response and very low input lag. I got mine from Costco for $199 and there is a coupon to take $30 off in their ads they send out.
