I frequently use my Dell Inspiron R 5520 laptop in two locations in my house. I'm contemplating buying a second power adapter so that I can leave one in each location to save as much messing about - as it would allow me to leave both power adapters set up and ready to use.
A quick look on Dell's UK website reveals that they start at around £45 upwards - which seems a bit steep to me! A couple of website that I've found through Google, such as this offer them for aroune £30 delivered. They don't claim to be genuine Dell chargers, but equivalents that they claim are of a high quality.
Has anybody had any experience with replacement Dell chargers? Or I suppose, any other brand of laptop for that matter. Any opinions welcomed. The cynic in me says that it would just be better to stick with the original Dell charger and put up with the 'hassle' or having to keep rummaging around to plug it in and out etc.
