Replace Wireless Card with La Fonera?

So i have a La Fonera (one rj45 port version) flashed with DD-WRT and im getting a Shuttle SN25P which only has PCI-E slots so the wireless card i have now wont work for it. Im really not wanting to buy a USB wirless device and 1x PCI-E cards are hella expensive so my question is can i use the La Fonera to receive the wireless internet and pipe it to the Shuttle via ethernet cable? Is that even possible?

Since it has DD-WRT on it, you should be able to set it up as a wireless client and do exactly as you said. If I remember correctly its relatively easy to do within DD-WRT.

Yeah it only takes a few steps, just take a look around on the DDWRT wiki and there are a few tutorials on there.

Thats a really bad card to be honest, i have a few of them laying around.
