Repeater. Good Setup for cheap?

Im looking for a good cheap setup for a repeater.

Anyone know of anything good.

Even if its something I have to hack up a bit would be fine.
As in it doesnt support it unless i flash it or something along that order.

Well if we are talking about repeating a wireless connection then I would probably say use ddwrt and get a cheap wireless router that you can flash it with.
