I would like to shrink C partition by 10GB and add them to my D partition. But the problem lies that Partition Magic 7 says that it's not possible for server OS. Even if I try to run it in DOS thru a BOOT DISK.

What else can I do?

I think you might also be able to do it manually with diskpart. Do a search for diskpart in this subforum for some answers. The posts by IceCzar are the ones you are looking for.

Depends on the situation. you could try to PM IceCzar about it for more info. I've only read about what he's actually done.


 
It's from the same folks that do PartitionMagic. Google it and you'll find lots of info. It's kinda expensive, so it may not be a viable solution for you.

See if you can google for non-destructive disk repartitioning.

You can also use the Acronis boot cd and change the partition size with it. Works like a champ, used it last night on a customers pc.

Or should I get Powerquest ServerMagic Netware 4.0
